Right-Wing Zealot Squeaks Out Victory
By Maureen Dowdy, exclusive to the Old York Times
A conservative blowhard and unabashed toady of W, Ross squeaked out a victory Sunday not unlike the manner in which Karl Rove escaped indictment: by the skin of his teeth. In traditional GOP fashion, Ross conspired with an imperialistic headwind to dispose of Gunnarsson on the back-nine. And, like the disastrous policies of the Rumsfeldians, Timmer missed an eight-foot putt on the final hole to gift-wrap the match for Ross.
Typical: only a world that permits the outrageous policies of Gitmo, Abu Graib, and Al Qaqaa would allow Bushie-lovers like Ross to flourish.
