Right-Wing Zealot Squeaks Out Victory

By Maureen Dowdy, exclusive to the Old York Times

A conservative blowhard and unabashed toady of W, Ross squeaked out a victory Sunday not unlike the manner in which Karl Rove escaped indictment: by the skin of his teeth. In traditional GOP fashion, Ross conspired with an imperialistic headwind to dispose of Gunnarsson on the back-nine. And, like the disastrous policies of the Rumsfeldians, Timmer missed an eight-foot putt on the final hole to gift-wrap the match for Ross.

Typical: only a world that permits the outrageous policies of Gitmo, Abu Graib, and Al Qaqaa would allow Bushie-lovers like Ross to flourish.

Timmer burns the record book with a blistering-hot performance

Warren Timmer erased the record books Saturday at Harbin Park, hitting for a -6 on the front nine and finishing with double digits under par for the day. His spectacular -10 was featured on ESPN 8's SportsCenterOcho and a brief interview explained his performance:

"I really felt good on my drives and follow-up shots today, and everything worked out even after a near meltdown on the 10th. I chalk it up to my new supplement regimen consisting of Specia Yohimbe Bark exclusively available from Timmer Nutritionals [tm]. Visit Timmer Nutritionals online at timmernut.com"
